Author Guidelines

Authors who submit their works to Jurnal Penelitian Inovasi Indonesia must adhere to the following guidelines.

The manuscript should be written in English or Indonesian, and it must include research findings, field studies, literature reviews, theories, as well as articles discussing social phenomena and issues.
The manuscript should be formatted on A4 paper in Microsoft Word, with a word count of 6,000-7,000, using Source Sans Pro font size 10.5 pt, with 1.15 spacing. It should be saved in .docx (Microsoft Word Document) or .rtf (Rich Text Format), except as otherwise specified in the template (refer to the template for further instructions).

The following sections must be included in the manuscript:

Title
The title should not exceed 14 words and must be clear, simple, and informative. Avoid using abbreviations wherever possible.

Author Name(s)
The author's name(s) should be written without academic degrees, followed by the name of the author's institution, placed under the article's title. If the manuscript is authored by more than one person, the editor will only communicate with the primary author or the first listed author. The corresponding author's address or email must be provided.

Abstract
The abstract must be written in two languages (Indonesian and English), with a length of 250-300 words, and keywords limited to 3-5 words. At a minimum, the abstract should include the research objectives, methods, and findings.

Introduction
The introduction should present the background, topic, and research questions or hypotheses. This section may include a literature review that highlights the research gap the author aims to address. The research objectives should be clearly stated at the end of the introduction.

Research Methods
Authors must explain the methods employed in the research and justify the rationale for choosing these methods.

Results and Discussion
The discussion may consist of multiple sub-sections that explore and analyze the research findings in the context of the social world discussed within the manuscript.

Conclusion and Suggestions
The manuscript must conclude by addressing the research questions. Conclusions should be supported by factual research data. The study findings should adequately respond to the research questions or hypotheses presented in the introduction. Instead of merely repeating research findings, the conclusion should provide a concise summary of the research outcomes. Suggestions should outline potential areas for future research based on the study's conclusions.

References
All references cited within the article should be listed in the bibliography. References must include primary sources published within the last 5 (five) years, except for key literature like classical social theories. Scientific journal articles should account for 80% of the references, while proceedings, books, monographs, speeches, government publications, and unpublished academic works (research reports, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations) should constitute the remaining 20%. If non-scientific sources such as YouTube videos or podcasts are cited, authors must provide justification for their inclusion in the Research Methods and Results and Discussion sections.

All cited references should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition format and be listed alphabetically.

Ensure the accuracy of all citations, and make sure every cited source appears in the References section. The editor may remove works that are not cited but are listed in the References.

The use of reference management tools like Mendeley, EndNote, and Zotero is mandatory.
